Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a National Sales Manager - Western US.

Job Description

As National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating, developing and managing new dealers, as well as growing sales with existing dealers, within the retail channel. You will do this through a team of independent manufacturer representatives who sell our products, while further developing our organization as a leader in the marketplace; develop and track quantifiable goals for all sales activities, budgets and other quantifiable measures; assist marketing in the development and implementation of successful sales programs, (i.e. displays, training and promotions); execute value proposition based selling — maintain brand identity and sell quality and value of branded products; track industry trends and translate into new business; oversee daily sales administration of all accounts; meet and/or exceed minimum requirements for sales activity and revenue goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related discipline
  • Competitive, energetic and motivated business development executive with minimum 10 years sales management experience
  • Able to demonstrate command of current technology: CRM, web conferencing, presentations
  • Keen understanding of retailers such as hardware stores, home centers, lumber and building material dealers and specialty retailers
  • Successful track record selling to dealers utilizing technology
  • Successful track record selling to dealers through 2-Step Distribution and Co-Ops
  • Experience running sales through manufacturer representatives, as well as direct sales force, a must
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: including strong self motivation, focus and passion for selling, with a proven track record in effectively communicating company and product messages to an external audience
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and manage relationships
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written communication and presentation skills

eCommerce Manager

Organized Living seeks an ecommerce manager to develop web strategies and execute corresponding tactics to grow web traffic and brand awareness for OrganizedLiving.com and for product sold through other online vendors. The candidate should have experience improving data integrity, placement of online tools and brand exposure. Develop web strategies and execute corresponding tactics to improve the customer experience, search engine ranking and ecommerce sales. Proactive and constant reassessment of procedure, methodology, technology, and all that is required to provide the best possible solutions while staying ahead of competitors. This position offers the chance for you to drive a new and entrepreneurial business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive for results with limited resources.
  • Uphold the Organized Living brand guidelines.
  • Work with online partners to merchandise product effectively.
  • Maintain product descriptions up to date.
  • Work with online partners for specific promotions.
  • Launch new products to online vendors using support and sales materials.

Accounts Payable Specialist

We have an opening for an A/P Specialist to be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of accounts payable. The right candidate will have experience in the full cycle of A/P, proficient with Excel and ERP systems; Macola experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full cycle of Accounts Payable.
  • Responsible for executing all policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
  • Liaison between company and vendors in resolving vendor problems and receiving W-9’s from vendors.
  • Responsible for paying vendors based on vendor terms, including early payment for cash discounts.
  • Reconcile, enter and pay expense reports on weekly basis.
  • Process and maintain all fixed assets, including running monthly and year-end reports.
  • Handle accounting processes such as journal entries, general ledger, bank reconciliations, cash/payment posting, month-end closes, etc.
  • Special projects, as needed.

Requirements

  • 5 years minimum accounts payable experience; preferably with manufacturing company     
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
  • Intense attention to detail and error checking
  • Associates degree in accounting preferred.
