Regardless of what your hobby is, these areas can turn messy quick because of all the parts and components involved in most hobbies. The trick is to create a place for everything so that items do not pile up into unorganized heaps as you are working.

1. Rule number one….use hooks and baskets to keep items separate and organized.

2. Labeled storage boxes are another easy way to organize supplies. Choose stackable boxes to maximize storage. Using a clear box also allows you quickly identify items that you may need.

3. Turntables or lazy susans are traditionally used in the kitchen, but there are no rules about using them in other areas. no rule saying that they cannot be used in other areas! Turntables can store a variety of small items in one place, as well as rotate for easy access to them.

4. Use a photo album or binder with clear pages to store paper, thread and hobby area. Manuals, receipts, directions and more can all be kept in one organized book for easy use.
