Create a Beautifully Organized Linen Closet

Created on May 14, 2013

Linen closets can easily turn into an organizational mess as hard to fold sheets and towels end up in messy, disorganized piles.  Follow these organizational tips to open your closet door beautiful organization not a cluttered disaster.

  • Invest in matching towels.  It is much more aesthetically pleasing to open your linen closet door to one beautiful color scheme.  Many of us hold on to towels way longer than we should refusing to throw away that threadbare beach towel we bought ten years ago.  It’s time to let it go and take the next step towards organization.
  • Many linen closets contain more than just linens, used for storage of cleaning products or toiletries in addition.  Make the most of your space by adding some storage accessories.  Organized Living’s Cabinet Shelves allow you to make the most of your storage space by creating vertical stacking space where there was none.  Stor-Drawers hang from the under side of shelves again creating more storage space to organize.
  • Attempting to neatly fold a fitted sheet is an almost impossible task.  Use your pillow cases to neatly store the rest of the bedding set.  This not only hides your messy fitted sheet, but keeps your sheet sets together.
  • Put smaller items into baskets.  Neatly folding and stacking twenty washcloths can be time consuming and frustrating.  Use baskets to store smaller items such as these which are harder to put away nicely.

Enjoy your newly organized linen closet!
