QA Associate

Due to our continued growth, we are in search for a QA Associate.

Job Description

Our Quality Associate will work collaboratively and participate in scrum ceremonies, including product design reviews and backlog requirements while providing input on testability of requirements and acceptance criteria; as well as be responsible for driving adoption of QA best practices for quality deliverables.

Expectations

  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of automated test frameworks and scenarios
  • Work with other Quality Associates and Developers to ensure that all aspects of the applications have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance, and quality
  • Deliver effective and efficient automated testing solutions by meeting key product milestones and overall deliverables on-time while adhering to development and quality standards
  • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
  • Work with the scrum team and product owner to build release plans while documenting feature contents of releases along with tracking the status and changes to the release points

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in an agile-like environment
  • Experience writing and executing manual testing for complex software applications
  • Experience communicating and working within cross-departmental teams consisting of software developers, department leads, and end-users
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills

Bonus Credit

  • CSS / HTML experience
  • Experience with Sitefinity or another major CMS
